Preventative Healthcare

When the CDC just asked me to complete a survey, my final comments went something like this:

"Why not share/talk about the role good nutrition has in preventing sickness, as well as clean food, clean air, clean water, clean personal care products, but especially clean foods with less-"intended" added sugar, and last but certainly not last behavioral mindset and resolutions for all of the above. *"

Our bodies were not designed for all the additives and toxins in our food and personal care products, or in our water and air, and more.  It doesnt know what to do with all of the junk we are "fed," so it comes out in the forms of sickness, skin issues and way more,  and then layer all that with various medications prescribed with side effects because people believe its their only option/choice.  Some medications do have their rightful place don't get me wrong, but when we are armed with better information and know better, we can do better, and we absolutely do have options and can do better.  

Irritability may be triggered by sugar. Mood is definitely affected by it.

*Did you know Sugar is intentionally added into foods where it shouldn't be to make us addicted, which then perpetuates the vicious cycle of ill health.  It's sickening to know this is actually happening, and perpetuating a sick-care system.

Possible Acid Reflux Remedy
Do you have occasional or frequent acid reflux?  This was an issue I had for years, but I have had better years, since -  Thank God. Occasionally, it comes back to haunt me, but thank God not too often.  I have since learned that eating an apple may possibly help the symptoms of this stubborn thorn in your side, or shall I say chest or throat?

For years, I took PPI's protein pump inhibitors, until I stopped taking them.  I also learned that they possibly are the culprit to a few stomach polyps I have.  It started out as a teenager, with bleeding ulcers, and into adulthood - more reflux and gastroparesis (slow emptying stomach). 

Little did I know, that perhaps an apple may help subside the symptoms of this irritant.  I don't know if this is true or not.  I'll let you decide what's best for you, but the article I stumbled upon today, may be useful for you.  I also have found that clean eating, as well as omitting some things, also helps aid in the onset.  It's interesting about the apples though because I used to find, and occasionally have still found, that apple sauce helps sooth it.  Again, I have come a long way with this, thank God, but glad to help anyone else that may be living through it.  Of course, I am not a doctor, but I can certainly recommend some things that have helped me along the way, and when I have shared this information with others, they have certainly Thanked me, including someone texting me yesterday for what I recommended that helped them. 

Last, but certainly not least, I always count on God first for my wellness, and HE never disappoints, second, I truly believe Mindset is a huge culprit of gut-related issues, plus our food system, and our food choices.  We all can help ourselves get well, if we're willing to do the work.  It takes time.:)

I don't know if the apples will work for you or not, but hey, why not? Apples are inexpensive enough, and I would recommend organic. Sooooooo, "how 'bout them apples?"

Who's body is this anyway? Surely, you must be mistaken!  I'm still 23, right?
Anyone in the trenches of those mid-life women's funster happenings, and wondering "who's body this is anyway?"  From the dry skin, to the saggy skin, to the mood swings, night sweats, day sweats, crying jags, freezing cold, low libido, like where did my 23 year old self go, right?  I mean really!  What is this!?

No one prepared me for this, and yet for me - thank God it's not horrible.  Do I have all of those things above - yes, but not to the degree some do, so for those of you really suffering, just know I have your back.  You know I'm the prayer Queen first.

Second though - you know I love helping people, and I get to do that in my line of work.  I don't know if this would be for you or not, "but hey - if it's not - we got options.  Ya hear me?  We got options." (That was in the voice of Anthony Soprano.)

Thank God, Young Living has us covered from head to toe in wellness options.  There are some oils too, but maybe this could help!

When it comes to clean products and personal care safety, I've got your back!:). I've done the work over the years.  It's time to take care of YOU.

Just like detoxifying unhealthy relationships, which is huge, it's equally important to take a moment, look through your closets and cabinets, and see what needs better attention.  What harmful ingredients lurks in them?  Are your cleaning and personal care products ladened with harmful chemicals?  Would you know the difference? I DO, and "I DO" are the not just the words I used on my wedding day:).  I DO means I DO KNOW what's lurking in many of these products, and it's not pretty.

I have been researching this nonsense for years - almost 20 to be exact, ever since I was introduced to a healthier lifestyle, FREE of toxins.  Many company giants still do no have our best interest/health safety in mind.  Ingredients they continue to use still creep into our systems because of lack of regulations.

Preparing for a good night's rest

Preparing for a good night's rest
Each day, I actually look forward to bedtime.  It's the time of day I finally give myself permission to think about me.:). I find the best way to wind down and get a good nights sleep is to make myself be in bed at the same time each night.  Often times I like to take a nice shower just to relax and ease any possible tension from the day. Once I do that, I apply my favorite essential oil called Stress Away (you can even order with member pricing, right from this site, if you choose to give it a go:). This is the first oil I was introduced to and fell in love with. I use it throughout the day with a few others to keep me grounded and calm.   In the evening, it works in a way that just helps ease me into sleep, which is interesting. For some of my troubled sleepers, I recommend also adding our lavender to the bedtime routine either by diffusing it by your bedside and/or putting a little on your pillowcase.  For a deeper, more restful, sleep apply some to your feet.:). Then I do a nice bedtime meditation that most often puts me right out. When I follow this routine I sleep well and I wake up well rested.:). Wishing you a more peaceful sleep tonight. 🛌 😴 💤 💃🏻🕺
